WHAT IS GRIEF & LOSS COUNSELLING?

Grief is a natural, human response to losing someone or something deeply meaningful.
It can arise from:

Grief is not “just sadness.”

It can show up as shock, numbness, anger, confusion, exhaustion, guilt, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others. There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and healing does not follow a straight line.

Grief & Loss Counselling provides a calm, grounded space where you can express what you feel, make sense of what you’re carrying, and begin to rebuild emotional stability in your own time.

You are not expected to “move on,” be strong, or make sense of everything at once. You are supported exactly where you are.

HOW GRIEF & LOSS COUNSELLING HELPS

Grief affects your thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, and sense of the world. In counselling, we focus on helping you navigate your grief in a way that feels respectful, gentle, and manageable.

We help you:

Grief is not something you get over — it’s something you learn to carry differently over time.

FINDING HOPE, STRENGTH & MEANING AGAIN

Loss can change how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. Counselling provides a supportive space to process your grief while also reconnecting with moments of grounding, purpose, and inner strength.

Together, we focus on:

Your grief is valid.
Your experience matters.
You deserve compassionate support as you navigate this deeply personal journey.
