WHAT IS GRIEF & LOSS COUNSELLING?
Grief is a natural, human response to losing someone or something deeply meaningful.
It can arise from:
- The death of a loved one
- The end of a relationship
- The loss of safety or identity
- Trauma or life-changing events
- Separation from family or children
- The loss of health, stability, or a future you imagined
Grief is not “just sadness.”
It can show up as shock, numbness, anger, confusion, exhaustion, guilt, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others. There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and healing does not follow a straight line.
Grief & Loss Counselling provides a calm, grounded space where you can express what you feel, make sense of what you’re carrying, and begin to rebuild emotional stability in your own time.
You are not expected to “move on,” be strong, or make sense of everything at once. You are supported exactly where you are.
HOW GRIEF & LOSS COUNSELLING HELPS

Grief is not something you get over — it’s something you learn to carry differently over time.
